Nicole is originally from Central New Jersey. She swam competitively year round for 12 years with the Hunterdon County YMCA Stingrays in Flemington, NJ. She was also a Varsity swimmer all four years during high school and was voted a team captain during her senior year. Nicole graduated from Salisbury University in 2014, where she earned her B.S. in Elementary Education and minored in Music. After college, she returned back to the Stingrays and coached with the team for 3 years, before moving to Maryland. Outside of swimming, Nicole is an elementary school teacher in Frederick County. Nicole's has been the Torpedoes Head Coach since 2019 and she is looking forward to a great summer!
Antonia joined the Torpedoes as a swimmer at the end of Elementary School and started as an official Assistant Coach in 2021. Antonia swam competitively year round for 15 years, including Northwest High School, RMSC Seniors in Germantown as well as for Towson University. Antonia graduated from Towson University in May 2024 after only 3 years with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Minor in Sociology. She plans to continue her education in grad school. First, however, Antonia is looking forward to another great and fun Torpedo season this summer!
Amelia has coached with the Torpedoes since 2021. She used to be on Torpedoes when she was younger. She has been swimming for around 15 years now. She swam in both high school and college. Amelia went to Salisbury University where she graduated from in 2024! When swimming for her university, she became a captain her senior year. Amelia also works for Deloitte as an accountant! She cannot wait for another amazing summer
Emma has been swimming with the Torpedoes since 2016, and coaching since 2024. She goes to Seneca Valley High School where she is on the varsity swim team. She has also swam for Rockville Montgomery Swim Club for four years. This will be Emma's first season coaching. She is very excited for this season to start!
Simon has been a Torpedo swimmer since he was 7 years old and has been with the Torpedoes since 2015. He currently attends Wootton High School and has been a member of their varsity swim team for three years. Simon has been swimming for RMSC since 2013 as well and hopes to continue his swimming career in college in the future. This is Simon’s first year as a coach for the Torpedoes, and he is looking forward to another great season!
